The first section of the marketing plan and strategy course gives you solid marketing fundamentals. I start by explaining what exactly is marketing, and how to think about it. I go over the common marketing mistakes, and how to think about the true costs of your marketing campaigns. I also discuss strategy for how to leverage large platforms (since you will be a small website when you first start out), and much more.
The second part of the marketing plan and strategy course covers offline marketing. I realize that offline marketing doesn’t sound too exciting, but there are some core fundamental aspects of offline marketing that we can later use in our online marketing. The single biggest such concept is building business relationships by making face to face connections, and gaining trust. Offline marketing is often done by creating face to face connections. The problem with offline marketing is that it doesn’t scale. But online marketing does scale, and we will take this principle of offline marketing, and use it in our online marketing efforts.
The third part of the marketing plan and strategy course focuses on social media marketing. The social media marketing I present is not your regular social media marketing. I explain strategies that work, and explain how to do social media marketing on most of the biggest social networks including Twitter marketing, Facebook marketing, YouTube marketing, GooglePlus marketing, and more.
The fourth part of the course covers SEO (search engine optimization). I discuss Google SEO as well as SEO on other search-based platforms.
The fifth part of the course covers other marketing strategies like mobile app marketing, event marketing, local service marketing, and much more.
