I see gross overcharging more than anything from SEO companies that don’t know Search Engine Optimization. I see web designers selling custom websites for 5-6K to a local pizza shop with no SEO foundation to get found. (That’s equivalent to putting their business that needs foot traffic in the middle of nowhere) I see video production companies making 3-5K videos that again, never get noticed online because there is no search engine foundation support to get it to rank online. I saw a guy that paid YP.com 9 a month for…I’m still trying to figure out what he was paying for…
It’s incredulous to me the types of marketing proposals being pitched in the marketplace to small business owners that can’t afford to throw their (extremely) hard earned money away. Offer a free give-away and add a clear call to action on your home page or better still at the end of your home page video to sign up for the free offer. You need to setup a lead capture form and ask for their name and email in return for the offer. The free give away could be a report, or a video training series, just make sure the content appeals to your target market. So the second of the Internet Marketing Strategies is effective Copy writing. Writing effective copy is probably the most important of all Internet Marketing Strategies. These copywriting techniques should be used for your web site copy, videos scripts, blog articles, emails and direct mail marketing.
Think of your typical prospect or customer and write as if you are talking to just that one person and you’re pitching an idea over a coffee. This makes the reader or viewer feel more involved. 3 – Web site Video –
Number 3 of the Internet Marketing Strategies is website videos. Now did you know YouTube gets over 5 billion daily views and is the worlds 3rd most visited website? 80% of people will watch a website video, compared to 20% reading the same content on that page. Number 4 is YouTube Value Video. Use can use Youtube to drive traffic to your site by creating value videos like this one. People are searching YouTube for answers so make videos helping your target market with the topics you’re an expert on. With the new major revision of the JAX-RS 2.0 API, a completely reworked reference implementation provided by Jersey 2.0 was released earlier this year. However, Jersey is not just a JAX-RS reference implementation. It also provides many additional features such as JSON binding support; integration with various containers and client transports (Grizzly, AHC, and so on); support for server-sent events (SSEs); MVC view templates (analogous to .NET Razor templates); and EclipseLink MOXy integration, with all its bells and whistles (JSON and XML bindings, custom object graphs, externalized descriptors, and so on). This session takes an in-depth look at these cool Jersey features that address additional use cases not covered by the standard JAX-RS API.
